SI Defining Moments Terms of Service

Welcome to the SI Defining Moments program (“Program”) offered through this microsite (https://simoments.sportsillustratedstadium.com) by SI Tickets, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Program.

1. Program Overview

SI Defining Moments is a gamified interactive experience offered at Sports Illustrated Stadium and potentially other venues where Sports Illustrated is a partner. The Program allows registered users to scan QR codes located around participating venues to earn rewards and prizes. At Sports Illustrated Stadium, there are 32 unique QR codes available throughout the 2025 season, starting in April 2025. Each QR code scan provides access to a unique digital copy of a Sports Illustrated cover. The more QR codes you scan, the more rewards you unlock, including wallet credits for use on sitickets.com. Participants may also be automatically entered into a sweepstakes, the details of which will be determined at a later date.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States.
  • Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of SI Tickets, Inc., its affiliates (including New York Red Bulls), Sports Illustrated Stadium venue, or Feature.io, or any other partners involved in the Program.

3. How to Participate

  • Registration: You must register on this microsite by providing your name, email, and other required information.
  • QR Code Scanning: Scan QR codes located around participating venues using the microsite’s QR scanner. At Sports Illustrated Stadium, there are 32 unique QR codes available during the 2025 season, starting in April 2025. Each QR code can be scanned once per user and unlocks a unique digital Sports Illustrated cover, credited to your account. Additional venues may be added in the future, with details announced on this microsite.
  • Rewards:
    • Collect covers to earn wallet credits (number of scans and credit amount to be determined). Wallet credits are issued and managed by SI Tickets, Inc. and can only be redeemed by registered users on www.sitickets.com toward the purchase of live event tickets, effectively discounting the ticket price by the credit amount (e.g., a $10 wallet credit reduces your ticket purchase cost by $10). Wallet credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash directly. Certain event restrictions may apply; see sitickets.com for details.
    • Other rewards, such as digital covers, have no cash value and are non-transferable.
    Send updates, reward notifications, or marketing emails (you can opt out—see below).
  • Future Sweepstakes:
    • Participants in the Program may be automatically entered into a sweepstakes, the details of which (including entry requirements, prizes, and dates) will be determined at a later date and announced on this microsite.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Program for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to manipulate the Program (e.g., by falsifying QR scans or creating multiple accounts).
  • Interfere with the microsite’s functionality, including through hacking or introducing malware.
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account or rewards, including wallet credits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation if you violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this microsite, including digital Sports Illustrated covers, logos, and QR codes, is owned by SI Tickets, Inc., Sports Illustrated, or our partners and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may access the digital covers for personal, non-commercial use only as part of the Program. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Media Release

By participating in the Program, you grant SI Tickets, Inc., its affiliates, and partners (including Sports Illustrated, New York Red Bulls, and participating venues) a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to capture, use, reproduce, distribute, and display photographs, videos, or other media of you interacting with the Program (e.g., scanning QR codes, receiving rewards) for promotional, marketing, advertising, or other purposes, including on social media, websites, and other platforms. You waive any right to inspect or approve the use of such media, and you will not be entitled to any compensation for its use. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that the use of your likeness will not violate the rights of any third party.

7. Third-Party Services

This microsite is supported by Feature.io, which operates the microsite, including providing QR code functionality, delivering digital Sports Illustrated covers, and collecting user data from registered participants per our instructions. Any technical issues with the microsite functionality or delivery of digital covers should be directed to Feature.io via their support channels, as provided on their website. SI Tickets, Inc. is not liable for Feature.io’s actions or failures. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Program Availability: We do not guarantee that the Program, QR codes, or rewards will be available at all times. Rewards are subject to availability and may change without notice. Participation requires access to participating venues during events; if an event is canceled or you cannot access the venue, you will not be able to participate, and we are not responsible for providing alternative access.
  • Reward Delivery: Feature.io operates the microsite and delivers the digital Sports Illustrated covers, while SI Tickets, Inc., and potentially New York Red Bulls, manage the reward mechanism and delivery of other rewards (e.g., wallet credits, experiences, or tangible goods). SI Tickets, Inc. is not liable for any failures or delays in the delivery of digital covers by Feature.io.
  • Technical Issues: We are not liable for technical failures, including issues with QR code scanning, microsite access, or delivery of digital covers, due to factors beyond our control (e.g., internet outages, device malfunctions, or Feature.io’s performance). Technical issues with digital cover delivery or microsite functionality should be reported to Feature.io.
  • Third-Party Actions: We are not responsible for the actions or failures of third parties, including Feature.io, Sports Illustrated Stadium, other participating venues, or event organizers.
  • Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, SI Tickets, Inc., its affiliates, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program. Our total liability will not exceed $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SI Tickets, Inc., its affiliates, and partners (including Feature.io, New York Red Bulls, Sports Illustrated Stadium, and other participating venues) from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Program or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications and Termination

SI Tickets, Inc. reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without notice. Any changes to these Terms will be posted on this microsite, and it is your responsibility to check for updates. If we terminate the Program, any earned rewards may expire, and eligibility for future sweepstakes may be voided.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the Program will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Privacy

Your participation in the Program is subject to the SI Defining Moments Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information.
